On November 6, 2025, the Galerie & Kunsthaus Nottbohm in Göttingen will be transformed into a place of magical jazz moments: The internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Joe Alterman (Atlanta, USA) will play an exclusive solo concert – surrounded by the atmospheric jazz photographs of Felix Dossmann .
The "Jazz Essentials" exhibition showcases intimate recordings of great jazz artists and moments of pure stage energy. This evening, it itself becomes the stage: for melodies full of soul, swing, and charm—and for an artist who imbues the spirit of classic jazz with new lightness.

This dynamic event will take a fun, witty, and heartfelt look at Georgia Tech’s incredible history, shining a spotlight on some of its most legendary alumni, unexpected moments, and lasting impact on Atlanta and beyond.
