Join us for a one-of-a-kind comedy and talk show experience featuring a live taping of WABE’s hit podcast, What’s Good Atlanta, alongside the soulful sounds of acclaimed pianist Joe Alterman and a lineup of hilarious comedians, student artists and special guests.

This dynamic event will take a fun, witty, and heartfelt look at Georgia Tech’s incredible history, shining a spotlight on some of its most legendary alumni, unexpected moments, and lasting impact on Atlanta and beyond. SVZ Jazz Lounge – A True Blind Date on Stage

The very first Jazz Lounge hosted by the regional newspaper SVZ.

And… a true blind date on stage.

Musicians will meet for the first time through the music – in front of the audience. That’s jazz at its most spontaneous and honest.

On November 6, 2025, the Galerie & Kunsthaus Nottbohm in Göttingen will be transformed into a place of magical jazz moments: The internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Joe Alterman (Atlanta, USA) will play an exclusive solo concert – surrounded by the atmospheric jazz photographs of Felix Dossmann .

The "Jazz Essentials" exhibition showcases intimate recordings of great jazz artists and moments of pure stage energy. This evening, it itself becomes the stage: for melodies full of soul, swing, and charm—and for an artist who imbues the spirit of classic jazz with new lightness.
